PROGRAM ACCESS – Brazilian Participants
Throughout the year 2010 the TCTP program as a whole was improved. To do so, several internal meetings involving ABC, JICA and the Executing Institutions were conducted.
In practical terms, the main aspect of changes for the year 2011 is the strengthening of relations with the target countries, in which the Local Government is now the key responsible for choosing of the Sector Focal Points, which in turn will promote the selection of applicants from Local Institutions that possess closer relationship to the course’s content. The Brazilian application process will be monitored by the institution which is performing the training.
In this sense, the new application process will no longer be performed by each individual interested in attending the course; instead the applicants will be pointed out by a government agency of the target countries, ensuring a close relationship between the Program, the beneficiaries’ institutions and the target country itself.
Being of your interest to participate in the program, considering that your institution is an important instrument for the implementation of public policies, regarding the training theme, ask the Embassy of Brazil, the Representative Office of International Cooperation Agency of Japan (JICA) or the cooperation agency in your country to inquire what to do to access the Program.
